Kyal Agar took a major punt when he bought a 1973 Plymouth Cuda sight unseen from Iowa in 2007.
Fortunately for Mr Agar, he was rewarded with a great car.
“I was living in Broome when it arrived, so flew down to Perth with a mate to collect the car and drive it the 2200km back,” he said.
“We had to stop at almost every service station along the route too because we could scrape only 300km from a tank. It was certainly a road trip to remember.”
