POLICE have appealed for help from the public to track down an escaped prisoner.
33-year-old Johnathan Fraser Sedman was being escorted by prison guards at Fremantle Hospital this afternoon when a white sedan approached and a man got out carrying a gun.
The man helped Sedman escape in the car, which was believed to have been driven by a woman.
Anyone who sees Sedman should not approach him and should instead call 131 444 immediately.
