Police hunt purse snatcher

Jessica NicoFremantle Gazette

A 92-year-old woman had her purse stolen as she walked down Lefroy Road yesterday morning.

At around 10.40am, the woman was walking towards Shepherd Street when a man approached her.

Police allege the man bumped into her, grabbing the walking frame she was using and stealing the woman's purse.

Fremantle detectives say the man ran off with the purse down Shepherd Street and into a dark older model sedan with patchy paintwork before driving away.
