The Fremantle Women’s Health and Wellbeing Day gives local women the chance to talk to professionals and other community members about important health issues, as well as take part in a number of free activities.

Fremantle Women’s Health Centre director Diane Snooks said 15 organisations and service providers would have stalls to help those who attend.

‘It is a chance for women to get the information they need to look after their health and wellbeing, so they are able to prevent the development of health problems and so they know where to seek help when they have symptoms of ill-health and disease,’ she said.

‘There will be demonstrations of healthy exercise and opportunities for women to learn some moves and have a go.

‘We have had very good attendances, between 75 and 120, and feedback from participants has been very positive.’

The Fremantle Women’s Health and Wellbeing Day is on September 24 at the Hilton Community Centre from 10am to 12.30pm.

To RSVP, call 9431 0500 by September 19.
