FREMANTLE Prison has received yet another accolade with two awards at this year’s Western Australian Tourism Awards.
The popular attraction won the major tourism attraction and cultural tourism categories.
It is the third year in a row the prison has been in the top three of both categories.
The Fremantle Street Arts Festival came third in the major festivals and events category.
Bibra Lake theme park Adventure World was nominated for two awards, claiming one.
The park finished second behind Fremantle Prison for the major tourism attraction award.
Assistant operations manager Chris Nunn won the Young Achiever Medal.
