A COCKBURN resident who spent two years researching the hall on Mell Road in Spearwood now needs a publisher to give her work a run.
June Caunt, of Coogee, began work in 2014 after being asked to write about the history of the hall ahead of its centenary year in 2016.
Dr Caunt said research included talking to local residents, accessing old newspapers and trawling through minutes from meetings held at the site.

Dr Caunt said she would like to see about 50 copies printed.
“The book really is more than a history of the hall,” she said.
“It’s a history of the building and the people around that area.”
A back to church day will be held on Sunday at the hall on Mell Road at 10.30am.
