Connecting South Lake’s (CSL) Sandra Pflugmacher said they were shocked when more than 500 people – 200 more than anticipated – came to the safety-themed event.
The event was aimed at providing the local community with information about safety measures they could implement.
Information was provided by local police, Neighbourhood Watch, the City of Cockburn and the SES, among others.
