Running for brain injury sufferers

South Fremantles Sam Wells is an advocate for Headwest WA, a not-for-profit organisation that works to support people living with an acquired brain injury (ABI), and she sees first-hand the difficulty people living with an ABI go through.

Ms Wells has decided to do her part, and will pull on her sneakers this weekend to tackle the Run for a Reason and raise money for Headwest.

This run is a personal challenge and will be difficult to complete; however nothing could be more difficult than going through life with a head injury, she said.

The physical and mental pain I will endure on this run will only be for a short time, however those living with brain injury never have a finish line.
