North Fremantle Primary School carries torch for peace

Jessica NicoFremantle Gazette

The peace run is a global torch relay that aims to spread peace and friendship from country to country.

The torch runners stopped off at North Fremantle Primary and a handful of other schools during a short trip to WA.

North Fremantle principal Janine Bersan said the school had supported the event for several years.

“The school supports this event because we all want world peace and it gives our students the opportunity to participate in this noble cause by joining with millions of others who have held the peace torch,” she said.
