School treat for dads

Pre-primary students were able to give their dads a pop-stick shave, get creative at woodwork tables and create finger paintings while the whole school held a breakfast for fathers and grandfathers.

‘Father’s Day is an important part in our lives and it is important to acknowledge all the ways they support their child through life and saying thank you,’ White Gum Valley’s Maureen French said.

‘These special event days feature across all learning programs as they are pivotal experiences in a small child’s life.

‘Our parents do a wonderful job and we need to celebrate this important job they do.’
