Schools rewarded for recycling ways

East Hamilton Hill Primary School took second place and $5000 while St Jerome's primary and Hammond Park primary shared third place.

Each school received $2000.

Harmony Primary School won the Creativity Award and $2000.

The remaining schools received a share of the prize money to be spent on waste improvement projects.

The Recycle Right Schools Waste Reduction Competition was held last term in partnership with Recycle Right and supported by the Waste Wise Schools Program.
