Comedienne Jessica Arpin is performing at the Fremantle Street Arts Festival.

Portraying a character that is hilarious, seductive and poetic, Ms Arpin performs an array of acrobatic manoeuvres on her yellow bicycle, all the while searching for that special someone that she can get married to and organising competitions to find the best match with hilarious results.

Ms Arpin said she was happy, honoured and excited to have been invited to take part in the festival and to add to her resume of more than 500 shows in 18 different countries.

‘I have heard a lot about this festival and many say it is the best Street Art Festival in Australia,’ she said. ‘Art in any way, street, theatre, gallery, opera is indispensable to the human being, to stay alive, be able to dream, be inspired, laugh and feel.

‘And if a street performing festival is organised in your own town, you’re lucky, so run out of your home and come and share those unique moments of magic.’
