SOUTH Lake Primary School is among 80 primary schools nationwide taking part in a 12-week program centred on decorating a fibreglass cow.

The initiative is part of Dairy Australia’s national Picasso Cows program, used to help kids learn about where their food comes from and the benefits of dairy foods.

Each school has 12 weeks to decorate their cow and complete learning journals.

More than 800 schools have taken part in the Picasso Cows program since it started in 2008.
