The City of Fremantle and fSpace Creative Industries Program provides businesses with three-months of subsidised workspace at fSpace’s office in Market Street.

Fremantle Mayor Brad Pettitt said the program would help small business owners by giving them a chance to work alongside other business owners and professionals.

“The City views the continuing emergence of creative industries in Fremantle as a key driver in Fremantle’s ongoing rejuvenation,” he said.

“The partnership with fSpace is a great fit for us and we look forward to being able to help kickstart some innovative local businesses that hopefully go on to become industry leaders.”

fSpace owner Sabine Albers said there were many people who wanted to start their own business but struggled with the financial commitment, which was where the program fit in.

“This program will provide the opportunity for people to work alongside some fantastic entrepreneurs at fSpace and will help get innovative business ideas off the ground or take an existing venture to the next level.”
