Spearwood: 80yo woman in critical condition after being hit by car

A WOMAN in her 80s was rushed to hospital this morning after being struck by a car in Spearwood.

The woman is believed to have been hit by a white ute outside the Phoenix Shopping Centre about 11.30am.

A St John Ambulance spokeswoman said the woman had head injuries and was taken to Fiona Stanley Hospital as a priority one.

A spokeswoman for the Murdoch-based hospital said the woman was in a critical condition and was being moved to another Perth hospital.
