Spicy celebrations

Staff ReporterFremantle Gazette

Lovers of all things hot and spicy rolled into Fremantle over the weekend as the two-day festival returned to the Esplanade Reserve.

There were live shows running both days showing the best ways to cook with and use different hot ingredients, roving entertainment from the Spare Parts Puppet Theatre, live music and a range of entertainment for children.

The festival’s expansion on to some of Marine Terrace caused traffic issues on Friday afternoon as traffic management cones and signs started going up to block some West End streets from Marine Terrace to High Street.
