SOME very excited school kids travelled into the city on Friday to take part in a revolution.

But they were not there to overthrow the State Government, or even the Perth Council.

They were taking part in the Food Revolution, launched by celebrity chef Jamie Oliver.

The aim is to ensure children have access to nutritious food, but also addresses food waste, buying responsibly produced food and the skill of cooking.

Students from Munster’s St Jerome’s Primary School made the trip to Jamie’s Italian Perth, where they took part in activities centred on healthy eating and the importance of a good breakfast.
