IT was all hands on deck at St Patrick’s Community Support Centre recently when volunteers joined staff from seven Bunnings warehouses to give the place a revamp.

High on the list of priorities for the day-long project was giving the facility’s dining room and health clinic a new lick of paint as well as touching up skirting frames and doors.

Bunnings Warehouse area manager Peter Kingwell said St Pats played an important role in helping Fremantle’s homeless and the volunteers were more than happy to give up their time to give something back to the centre.

“St Patrick’s Community Support Centre is an important facility in our local community and our team is excited to be helping volunteers to give the centre a fresh coat of paint,” he said.
