Early ideas being looked into by City of Cockburn include new screening and flora between Rockingham Road and Adela Place.

In 2007, the whole length of Spearwood Avenue was dedicated as “Friendship Way” and divided into six sections reflecting links to Cockburn’s sister cities, peace, Australia and Nyungar people.

The section under consideration is “Peace”, with Deputy Mayor Carol Reeve-Fowkes pushing for council to get the ball rolling.
