Students on mission of mercy

The Murdoch University representatives will visit villages to donate medical supplies and volunteer their nursing skills. Ms Marsella said she hoped the experience would give her valuable experience before her graduation this year.

‘We all believe that this experience will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to make a difference to those less fortunate than ourselves and it will be a valuable experience to work in a community on such a project,’ she said.

‘Obviously there will be language barriers and the standards of care are going to be different to what we are used to.’
