Success girl close to tears on being selected for national Indigenous Connections’ Aboriginal Model Search

The 11-year-old claimed the junior category at Indigenous Connections’ Aboriginal Model Search WA state |finals at the start of the month.

It won her a ticket to Sydney in December for the national finals.

“I was so happy when my name was called out I almost cried,” she said.

“(Modelling is) something I dream about doing for the rest of my life.”

The Ballardong girl said she was excited for the chance to represent her people at the national finals.

“I’m so thrilled to be able to showcase what young indigenous models can offer the industry,” she said.
