A TEENAGER has died after cutting his leg while on the roof of a shopping centre south of Perth.
The 16-year-old boy had climbed onto the roof on North Lake Road in South Lake, near Fremantle, early on Sunday morning.
Two friends of the teen climbed to the roof to help him after he suffered a laceration to his thigh.
A spokeswoman for WA Police said: “Department of Fire and Emergency Services personnel assisted in getting the youth from the roof to the ground.
“The youth was conveyed to Fiona Stanley Hospital where he died a short time after arrival,” she added.
“Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.”
