Teen stabbed in Fremantle overnight

A SECOND teenager in a week has been injured in an alleged stabbing in Fremantle.

At 11.45pm last night, a 17-year-old boy was standing against a wall on South Terrace when he became involved in an altercation with another male.

Police say the other man then physically assaulted and stabbed the teenager.

The victim ran from the area and collapsed outside a nearby store.

He was taken to Royal Perth Hospital and is in a stable condition.

It is the second such attack in a week, after an 18-year-old man died over the weekend when a woman allegedly stabbed him near the Fremantle Train Station on November 23.
