Thieves Target Aboriginal Artwork

THIEVES have stolen 16 pieces of artwork valued at $101,500 from a Fremantle home.

Between Saturday, February 6 and Monday, February 8, a home on Little Howard Street was burlged and the artwork, which included a number of Indigenous pieces and was hanging on the walls, stolen.

Fremantle detectives say all pieces have a certificate of authenticity, which the offenders left behind.

Police want to speak to anyone who has information about the incident or who might have seen the artwork for sale.
