Previously known as Red Threads, the store will be celebrating its fifth anniversary with a silent auction, giving customers the chance to bid on one-of-a-kind and collectible items including three high-end watches, Bohemian crystal wine glasses, designer wear and vouchers for local Fremantle businesses.
Funds raised will go back into Red Cross programs.
Fremantle Red Cross Shop manager Brenda Mickle said the anniversary was a significant benchmark for the volunteers who had given up their time and talent for the past five months.
“Through the silent auction we will be able to raise more funds that will increase the ability to maintain and expand Red Cross services both locally and at a national and international level,” she said. “Besides retail therapy, people can pop in to get a free smile from one of our friendly volunteers, to see what kinds of unique items we offer, and to check out and bid on the array of silent auction items or buy some raffle tickets.”
Locals can bid on the silent auction until February 9.
