This trail features audio signage, Ngarkal (Seagull) Beach, Kidogo Glass artworks and a lookout point at the top of Podman Loop.
The lookout is planted with indigenous species.
The site is significant with local Aborigines because it is a traditional gathering place.
Cockburn’s acting community development manager Jill Zumach said the trail was about recognising Aboriginal history. “This is very important, particularly in terms of our commitment to respect opportunities and relationships via our Reconciliation Action Plan,” she explained.
“We have a strong commitment to this.”
