She will be speaking to people all around WA about what they can do to help end poverty before later joining a conference with the nation’s political leaders.
The aim was for people to join the Movement to End Poverty, a petition to support an increase in foreign aid to 70 cents out of every $100 by 2020.
‘I get really excited by youth-run and orientated events like this,’ she said.
‘I think the Roadtrip is a mind-blowing opportunity to get out there and do something that will ultimately make a difference in so many people’s lives.
‘It is important for the public to get involved because they have the opportunity to make change and change the lives of so many people in the world who don’t have the copious amounts of opportunities that we have.’
