Two women charged over series of incidents in Fremantle District

TWO alleged prolific offenders have been charged with a total of 25 offences following an investigation into a series of incidents in the Fremantle District last month.

The charges relate to 10 incidents that occurred between March 19 and March 31 in Fremantle, White Gum Valley, Willagee, Beaconsfield, East Fremantle, Applecross and Marangaroo.

A 22-year-old Willagee woman has been charged with 14 offences including five counts of stealing, three counts of fraud and aggravated armed robbery.

During one of the incidents it will be alleged the women entered a home on Doig Place in Beaconsfield and threatened the 68-year-old resident with a knife before stealing items from the house.

She appeared in the Perth Magistrates Court on Monday and has been remanded in custody to appear in the Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court on Wednesday, April 13.

A 34-year-old Spearwood woman has been charged with 11 offences including four counts of stealing, three counts of aggravated burglary and aggravated armed robbery.

She is due to appear in the Fremantle Magistrates Court today.
