In fact, he will encourage it as he takes part in the UGLY Bartender campaign, which aims to raise money for the Leukaemia Foundation.
Mr Glendenning said it sounded like it was a great opportunity to help out and he was more than happy to jump on board. ‘I think everyone knows someone who knows someone who has been affect by the disease,’ he said.
‘It’s a unique way to be involved as it incorporates my job and as a result is an easy way to reach out to others in the community.
‘It also is a way to get the crew at the Monk involved because they just love calling me ugly.’
