Jessica NicoFremantle Gazette

A UNIVERSITY of Notre Dame lecturer will be able to further his bible studies in one of Christianity’s most sacred places after receiving a scholarship.

The B.J Hickey Biblical Foundation scholarship will allow Notre Dame’s School of Philosophy and Theology lecturer Lawrence Pang to travel to the Tantur Ecumenical Institute in Jerusalem to further his Old Testament studies.

Dr Pang said the month-long study would deepen his understanding of Israel and its history, culture, people and faith.
