VETERAN Fremantle Docker defender Michael Johnson is helping police with enquiries into an incident in Leederville over the weekend.

Johnson is alleged to have been involved in an assault outside a kebab shop in the early hours of Sunday morning.

In a statement released by the club, chief executive Steve Rosich said they were treating the matter seriously.

“We are very disappointed that Michael placed himself in such a situation last weekend,” he said.
