World’s fourth biggest cruise ship, Ovation of the Seas, helps set Fremantle Passenger Terminal record

A VISIT by the fourth biggest cruise ship in the world helped the Fremantle Passenger Terminal set a record for the number of passengers processed in one day.

Docking in Fremantle in early December, Ovation of the Seas brought with it more than 4500 passengers.

With close to 3000 passengers joining the ship in Fremantle, the local port city’s Passenger Terminal handled 7544 passengers in just nine hours.

It broke the previous record of 6789 passengers set in November 2015 during a visit by Explorer of the Seas.
