REGARDING road safety at Coogee Beach ” I say ‘road safety’ loosely, because there isn’t any.

I live on Len McTaggart Park and I regularly witness excited youngsters, towels in hands, disembarking from the bus and literally running for their lives through the speeding traffic on busy Cockburn Road to get to the beach.

It is only a matter of time before there is a tragedy here.

Another concern of mine is the traffic turning right out of Powell Road, and again those who turn left into Beach Street. They too take chances with the speeding traffic.
