THE State Government has given just $2.5million to the Royal Flying Doctor Service for a new aircraft.
For such an essential service, the Government should have purchased the aircraft outright instead of putting millions of dollars into an unnecessary marina.
Without the RFDS many sick people would not reach hospital in time.
To Outback remote areas, the air medical service is a godsend � an absolute lifeline.
