No, Mr Francis, this is a determined campaign by the good people of Cockburn to stop their council being wiped off the map, to be carved up and handed over to the waiting vultures.

Amalgamation should be the joining of small neighbouring councils into one, not destroying a large, well-run, well regarded and financially stable council.

You have a problem with some local government CEOs earning more than the Premier.

I have yet to hear a complaint from the Cockburn electorate concerning the CEO’s salary level.
