Dummy barrier

REGARDING the article ‘Shark barrier likely for a comeback’, May 13 ” great idea.

I have thought of another use for the barriers.

Now the autumn/winter rains have come, our lakes (North and Bibra) are coming alive again.

I counted 80 to 100 black swans, plus other bird life at the north end of Bibra Lake.

But at the eastern end of the lake, the dummy shark Roe 8 has started its swim down the road to nowhere.

Can the barriers be installed at the mouth of Hope Road to stop the debris, and drum lines at Parliament House ” a few dummy sharks there also.
