IT IS astonishing that the Mayor continues to insist the area of the skate plaza is less than 10 per cent (of the Esplanade Park).
The masterplan passed in April 2009 specifically forbade the skate facility (then very small) from being in the park.
Interestingly, the Mayor welcomes the calling of a special electors meeting because he says he can further educate the community.
The whole point of the special electors meeting (and that of the FICRA meeting) is so that the Mayor will listen to the community.
