One more delay

AGAIN, the rail crossing on North Lake Road in South Lake has caused a big delay, this time to a police vehicle in an emergency.

While a train blocks the crossing, it means up to a three-mile deviation.

North Lake Road is the only main road to and from Fremantle, so one cannot understand the thinking of engineers and planners not to have that section of the road pass through a subway.
