Opinion: On the road to injury

Daryl Binning, WinthropFremantle Gazette

IT’S only a matter of time before a major, possibly fatal, accident will occur and those responsible will deny culpability.

If anyone needs evidence of the future damage that will be done by deleting the nearby Roe 8, you only have to look at the growing traffic on a short section at the western end of Farrington Road near North Lake.

With the increasing traffic now being forced into a single lane, major congestion is occurring and risks are being taken, as parents drop off and pick up their children from a college midway along the narrow section.
