Opinion: Too many dog beaches these days

ONCE again the Cockburn Council has caved in to the dog lobby and allowed dogs on Coogee beach from the surf club to ammunition jetty.

Soon people who want a dog free beach will have to go elsewhere. It used to be good to walk without someone’s dog on a three- metre lead trying to lick your legs.

How long before they take over the rest of the beach?
