The Premier’s plan to sell off state assets to pay for the rising state debt cannot happen without permission of the owners.

He may say he can by virtue of being elected. However, at no stage did he indicate during his election campaign that he was considering or going to sell WA assets.

If he had, the election might have had a different outcome.
