Reader complains that police should target slow drivers

GAIL RENTON, YangebupFremantle Gazette

Local police are also targeting speeding drivers and those using mobile phones.

It does not bother me when I see drivers doing those things. What annoy me are drivers driving in the right-hand lane, not passing the vehicle they are next to, which is illegal, and drivers doing less than 10 kilometres under the speed limit in either lane, which is also illegal.

I believe this causes more accidents and road rage.

Speed limits are there for drivers to stick to; if they cannot they should not be on the roads.

Police should be targeting these people more.
