Born in Italy, Mr Mondi began his real estate career in 1976 with Eastough Real Estate, seizing the opportunities Australia offered and working hard.

Grant Robinson, director of Elders Real Estate Central, speaks highly of his peer.

“Vince set the world on fire, listing and selling,” he said.

“Trust and honesty were the corner stone of Vince’s success, a handshake was an oath.”

Mr Robinson explained that Mr Mondi’s first newspaper advert was in the first edition of the Fremantle Gazette newspaper.

“Vince then started the home open tradition on a Sunday, he certainly copped some flak from other agencies,” he said.

“Today we have followed that tradition with homes open predominantly on a Sunday; thanks Vince.”

Through Mr Mondi’s long career he has assisted thousands of people in finding their next home or selling their current one and shows no sign of slowing.

“Although Vince is middle age, don’t let that fool you, his enormous memory and quick wit with humour still keeps our sales meetings moving quickly with lots of debating,” Mr Robinson said. n
