COLLIER Homes is proud to be expressing its adaptation to a changed market and its transformation as a builder with the release of a new series of five homes called the Cosmopolitan Collection.

The collection’s aesthetic embraces multiculturalism, diversity and a built form that recognises multi-generational living.

“The collection includes designs inspired by our experiences as a family” chairman Dario Amara said.

Once you have selected a design aesthetic, you choose from the ground and first-floor plan options, following which Collier Homes will work with you to optimise your home according to your site and budget.

Together with prequalified suppliers, Collier Homes has also created a number of bespoke interior fit-outs that are unique in the market.

Because of the level of design development that has been invested into the collection, gained efficiencies in time and cost can be passed on.

As a family owned and operated business, Collier Homes’ value proposition is straight forward: for family, by family.

The release of the Cosmopolitan Collection coincides with Collier Homes’ 60th anniversary.

Founder Ray McCarthy named the business after the street in Applecross where he lived with his mother and sister.

Dario and his wife Susan Amara acquired the business assets in 2016.

As a mother of four, Susan knows the importance of a design and floorplan that reflects how you want your family to interact.

“A mother is the ‘builder of the home’, and during the journey of bringing up my sons I came to realise that our home connected us as a family,” she said.

“Having a beautiful and thoughtful design was paramount to the happiness, joy and peace of my family and whoever entered the portals of our home.

“I wanted my children to see green plants and blue sky, breathe fresh air, see order by having spaces that could adapt over time and were not limited to one purpose.

“Our home needed to adapt to our needs and create harmony and grace to our daily lives.

“It inspired peace and beautiful memories; thoughtful design will do this.”

As a second generation builder, Dario Amara is pleased to build on his own family tradition of building quality custom homes while continuing Collier Homes’ reputation as an industry force, trail blazer and builder of choice for WA families.

Dario is active in the business and supports his son, Alberto Amara, who as executive director takes the family building tradition to a third generation.

“We honour all those who over our entire sixty year history have worked hard to build upon solid foundations,” Alberto said.

“My family and our dedicated team are proud to be continuing the tradition and to be able to celebrate this milestone with style and grace.”
