The defender notched up 53 games across seven seasons at the Dockers after being drafted from the Casey Scorpions via the rookie draft.

Football operations manager Chris Bond said the 2014 best clubman was a quality person held in high regard.

Silvagni’s departure came just two days after midfielder Michael Barlow announced his time at the club was up.
