Ballantyne added to International Rules side

FREMANTLE forward Hayden Ballantyne has been added to the Australian side to play Ireland in a one-off test at Croke Park in Dublin on November 21.

Ballantyne was called in to replace Port Adelaide’s Chad Wingard, who will continue rehabilitation for a minor knee complaint.

The feisty forward, who booted 15 goals from 15 games in 2015, will join Dockers teammate David Mundy in the the 22-man squad.

Australia will aim to defend the Cormac Macanallen Trophy it won on home soil last year with a squad again made up of All Australian Players.
