THE Lakeside Lightning juniors have continued their successful run at the Basketball WA State Championships, taking out the under-11 boys division one title in the second week of competition.
Going up against basketball powerhouse Willetton in the grand final, the game was a tight arm wrestle from beginning to end, with Lakeside managing to keep the lead for all but a few minutes in the middle of the game.
A big eight-point game from Logan Grida, which included an impressive four made free throws, helped get Lakeside over the line 29-22.
