Bryce LuffFremantle Gazette

Marcus Goode is a centre currently playing for the Seattle Mountaineers, which he leads for scoring, rebounding and blocks.

Head coach Matt Parsons said Goode would be a great addition to the team.

“He comes with plenty of accolades and a lot of upside to his game and will fit into the culture and values we have created at Cockburn,” he said.

Goode was excited to sign on with Cockburn.

“I’m really looking forward to coming to Perth and meeting the people of Cockburn,” he said.

“This is a great opportunity for me and I can’t wait to get down there. This will be a fantastic adventure.”

The signing followed the capture of import Cherridy Thornton who has signed on with the women’s team for 2016.

Thornton is a forward playing out of the University of Buffalo.
