Bryce LuffFremantle Gazette

WEST Coast has been dealt a cruel blow with midfielder Chris Masten to miss the start of the AFL season.

Masten sprained his left ankle in the club’s intraclub practice match on Saturday and could be out for more than two months.

The 26-year-old is expected to have his ankle in a moon boot for the next couple of weeks before starting his rehabilitation program.
