Fremantle will be taking on Rockingham, Melville and Claremont in the event, which will see two concurrently running T20 games taking place on the field.

Fremantle Districts vice president Phil Alvaro said the event should be a spectacle for cricket lovers, with entertainment, raffles, sausage sizzles and homemade pizza also scheduled for the day.

‘It provides great exposure for the club and will hopefully provide the impetus for people in the Fremantle area to try cricket as a sport in a socially relaxed atmosphere,’ he said.

‘Funding for small sporting clubs is extremely hard to come by and by promoting an event like this it can provide the club with a good source of revenue whilst providing a valuable community service and atmosphere.
